Beautiful 1978 Mercedes 450SEL 53k Original Miles

1978 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 450 SEL

I'm selling this beautiful Mercedes for a friend who's husband recently passed away.
They purchased the car in 1981.
I don't think it has been registered since 1983. Sold as is. Buyer responsible for any California registration fees and smog. (I have not tried to smog this car and don't see a reason why it would not pass.)

There are several flaws that I have not tried to fix or troubleshoot.
Looking over the vehicle this is what I have found. (The good the bad. See pictures for details.)
The engine and transmission are powerful and work great as expected. Idles great. Fast acceleration.
The wood trim is perfect.
The Sunroof works great.
Comes with original manuals and era cell phone.
Trunk is clean with new spare.
Headliner and Visors: Perfect
Door Panels: Perfect
Special order factory alloy wheels. (2 are in good shape. 2 are heavily delaminated chrome.
All gauges work including the clock except for the fuel gauge. The red light does come on when in reserve.
The windows work except the drivers side.
A/C does not work but I do feel the motor change when engaged.
Two small cracks in the upper dash.
Vacuum locks work intermittently.
Paint on roof and truck lid is heavily oxidized.
Radio does not turn on.
Driver Seat: Small Tear. Passenger Seat Perfect. Rear Seat looks Perfect but lost most of it's regidity.
Right front fender two small dents.
Needs wiper blades
