Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is extremely nice 560 SL Convertible that has lived here in California for all of it's life. It was just purchased from only the second owner of the last 12 years in the San Jose, California area. The original lady owner before him purchased the car new from a Beverly HillsMercedesdealer for around $64,000 back in 1987.This super honest original car presents wonderfully well in it's glowing original red paintwork, showing only a few flaws ( all of them are pictured). The rest of the car's body and paintwork is near flawless. Chromework, rubber, glass all present very well.The car's interior shows the same story here. The dashboard is almost perfectly crack-free, save for a small spot around the instrument mound. The seats are in excellent condition overall with just some minor general aging. Wood trim is nice, carpets are beautiful, even the trunk mat. The car's original soft top fits well, and is in very good to excellent condition, having no needs. A useful rear wind deflector option is fitted, but is removable.The car's engine compartment is very clean and presents well. The car starts easily on the key, revs smoothly, and drives down the rood with plenty of power, showing no mechanical issues whatsoever. This tight and quiet-riding car is quite impressive for it's age and mileage. The car's undercarriage is completely rustfree, of course.The car includes a tool kit, original spare tire, jack with handle, original window sticker, hardtop tools, owners manuals, and plenty of original sales documents. Overall, thisSignal Red gem is excellent value and is in wonderful original condition. It has been well taken care of for all of it's life by only two considerate California owners.
