Hello, My name is Al Rivera, I am a broker. I was hired by the family to sell this car. I have used my digital camera to take the pictures of the car. These pictures are the original pictures that I have, and not have been photo chopped or manipulated in any way to take away from this presentation. This is a special auction for a special car. One car, with only one owner, who spent the last 33 years, in Southern California, making sure that this car was well maintained. While this was always his dream car, nothing but the best was ever done to keep it, his dream car. He was a non smoker, and never had any food inside. We have every receipt on the car. I went through all the receipts and came up with a total of $40,000 in service and repairs. Just to name a few items, for example, mechanically speaking, the timing chain, chain guides, water pump, and thermostat. A complete head and valve job was completed also on this car, all new seals and valves have been replaced. The transmission was completely rebuilt. The fuel mixture distributor has been replaced, along with all the oxygen sensors. The leather interior has been replaced, including new sun visors. The suspension, has been replaced, all four struts are new. The exterior of the car has been repainted to the original light metallic blue and matching pin stripe. It has new tires, and brakes and drives like a cream puff. It comes with the removable hardtop, to open up the beautiful navy blue canvas rag top that comes with it. This is a very striking classic car and one of the last great 380 SL's that still looks good no matter where you park it, it still turns heads. It seems this car is like new again, especially, when most of the work was done about 5,000 miles ago. It would be hard to pass this one up, especially at the price stated in the auction. If you were looking for a classic Mercedes-Benz to have in your driveway, this is the one to get, you will not be disappointed.
