1986 Mercedes-Benz 300 SDL
It pains me to sell this beautiful machine but we've moved upstate and this heavy old diesel just doesn't cut it on those snowy hills...I bought this car at an estate sale and have used it as my every day driver for the last 16 months. It had been sitting unused in a slightly damp garage for 3 years, so the first thing I did was drop $2k on a head to toe service from one of the best Merc guys in Brooklyn. Since then I have replaced the belt tensioner & belts, the climate control unit and the power steering pump & hoses. It's currently running perfectly but bare in mind it's 32 years old and will no doubt need regular work to keep it on the road. This car was garaged its entire life except for the last 16 months that I've owned it. It was regularly serviced by Mercedes-Benz of White Plains since new and I have continued to baby it. There's just one very small rust spot on the entire car - see pics.
This has to be one of the best examples out there and perfect candidate for a WVO / vege oil conversion.
