I bought this very rare European 1967 Mercedes 280SE,which I think is the first of the 280 fuel injection cars made, from the son of the owner who owned it since 1988; he lived in North Carolina. He told me the car run great when his father stop driving.I have not done anything to it except put tires on it. The engine turns over freely and is very clean under the hood. The body is very straight with good lines and a little rust near trunk lid...see pictures.The car needs cleaning in and out, it has at least 5 years of dust and dirt on it.Some of the wood trim needs to re-finished and there is several rust spots in the inner rockers that need to be replaced.
