It was sold new as detailed by the original window sticker by the Mercedes Dealership in San Francisco to a gentleman in Washington State. He kept and drove the car 22k miles and then sold it in 1995 to a Mercedes collector in Arizona who has carefully maintained the car in his private collection since.
