Selling my Mercedes that I purchased awhile back as a winter vehicle. I have been driving the vehicle on occasion without any real issues and I am starting to feel guilty about driving it as a winter car. I have tried to keep enjoyment limited to the cleaner days of winter but the vehicle is kept plated and insured so it had to be driven. Vehicle has not been sitting and gets regular use and service as needed. Vehicle could use some maintenance to be in top condition however all these parts are included as listed below.
The black leather interior is in very good condition with no tears or rips. The power memory seats have the rare orthopedic option with power headrest. All panels in the vehicle are in good condition and thanks to the tinted windows and rear factory power sun-shade the interior is not faded or cracked. Has an AM/FM Stereo with CD player and Auxiliary in port so that you can immediately play music from your iPod, iPhone or Android device with the 3.5 millimeter jack and included cable. Could use some more base, but system sounds good and is a clean install. Wood trim is in fair condition without any serious damage as shown in the photos. Sunroof works in all positions as does the rear defrost and HVAC system. Good heat and air conditioning. All power windows works and vehicle includes all 4 new matching window switches still in the box. All exterior lights work, turn signals, reverse lights, high and low beams.
Engine starts and runs smooth, transmission shifts smooth into all forward gears and reverse works without issue. Vehicle could use some maintenance with regards to the timing chain guides however all these parts are included as listed below. Has a K&N air filter with newer EHA and Fuel Distributor ($800 value). Engine compartment is clean.
The exterior is black with some flaking paint where the chrome used to be. Vehicle has some other superficial rust areas in the common areas for these cars as shown in the photos. Car is solid underneath and the paint has a good shine to it when washed.
This classic Mercedes is nearing 28 years old and as such could use some service to keep it in optimal condition. I am including at asking price the following parts that are brand new in the box.
