I am selling this absolutely-stunning, super-classy, original-survivor, luxurious, 1977 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL, to help settle an estate. Since purchased new, this one-family-owned car has been garage-kept and very well maintained. It has a wonderful, straight-as-an-arrow body and matching hardtop - professionally refinished in its original Signal Red (color code 568) about 20 years ago. The overall paint finish looks great, but it does have some bubbles and blemishes. The entire interior looks and feels fantastic - from the seats and door panels, to the dash and carpet. The original Haartz Cloth convertible top also looks great and goes up and down with ease.
Everything on the car works as it should. It still has its original jack, tools, and spare tire. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes and handles excellent. The entire car is highly detailed and ready for the most discriminating collector, enthusiast or classic-car lover.
