The car has 90% original paint (Astral Silver, ode 735G), he exception being the area forward of the trunk that's prone to scratches from mounting the hardtop. The paint finish is extremely nice for being 35 years old, t's obvious that this car was garaged. You'll find a few small paint chips here and there but overall the car looks outstanding. Zero rust issues, one. The tires have about 900 miles on them, he wheels are all in excellent condition with no curb rash.

Bumpers show good chrome, he rubber trim is in good shape as well. Panel fit is perfect throughout and the doors close like a vault.

All 4 headlights are the original GE units from new, he grill is in great shape with no damage. The accessory wheel arch trim shows one flaw on the front passenger side.

The glass is all original, ncluding the windshield, ll of it in terrific condition. The original Bosch wiper blade holders are still present, ost got tossed at the first blade change, ou'd be surprised to see how much Mercedes charges for replacement holders. The Hirschmann antenna operates in tandem with the radio. Nice original details everywhere you look.

Here's the area that was repainted, nd since then it's picked up a few small scratches yet again. All lights and lenses are in excellent condition. Full folder of service receipts chronicle the car's entire history from both owners. Nice set of original books and manuals, riginal keys, lus the factory data plate with "Evergreen Ventures" as the original owner. Evergreen Aviation had an interesting history, ncluding many ties to CIA work. Also included but not shown is a fitted car cover.

The soft top is original to the car and still in good condition, he Wopavin branded windows are clear and pliable.

The hardtop has a few light scratches, t features all original paint, lass and weatherstripping - very nice shape overall.

The trunk carpet is in good condition except for an area on the right that shows wear from carrying around a set of golf clubs. The tire compartment is rust free and the factory jacking equipment is unused.

The MB-Tex interior is all original but looks like new. The seats are in fantastic shape, howing absolutely no wear. Right down to the carpet, his interior is mint.

All of the switchgear looks like new and everything operates correctly. Power windows work, ights, ipers, orn, ignals, tc all work as they should. All of the gauges operate correctly and show good consistent readings. Great oil pressure. The clock works and keeps good time. The classic Becker Mexico stereo has good sound and the power antenna works in tandem with it. The AC system has been converted to the R-134a standard and blows ice cold.

All of the wood trim is in terrific condition. Ashtray and lighter are unused

Excellent sills. Unmarked door panels with minimal heat warping (especially rare with a black interior), nother signpost of a car that's always been garaged.

Excellent steering wheel. Crack-free dash. Clean footwells. There's no substitute for a low mile car.

The car runs and drives just like it looks - terrific. It starts instantly at the flick of the key and runs strongly, ffering plenty of power with no smoke and no abnormal noises. It idles smoothly, hifts flawlessly, rakes well and runs down the road with a nice tight suspension. This car is excellent on the road.

Clean engine bay with lots of original details throughout. All of the factory decals and ID plates are still present.

Perfect undercarriage with zero rust issues, till carrying its original factory exhaust that's in good operating condition. This is how you want a R107 undercarriage to look.
