Up for consideration is a beautiful 1961 190sl. Privately owned by same owner for over 30 years. All maintenance and upkeep always performed by local Mercedes Benz. This beauty has been driven lightly, mainly to car shows. It is a multiple year 2nd place winner at the Concourse de Elegance (Forest Grove). It was fully restored 20 years ago and has been stored with care always inside and away from the outside elements. It is complete with a restored hard top (white), however, the hard top needs a new headliner.I inherited this vintage classic from my father who put great care and time into this 190.The title is clean and clear and my mother will sign off on it, (she lives close by) as it is in safe-keeping- it was recently transferred out of my father's name.It also includes a cover, specifically for this car.It starts, sounds, runs, drives beautifully.The body is straight and clean.The interior is clean and very well maintained.Black Leather seats. (Very comfortable!)Most of the original tools included.Time does not permit me to show this car in events and I believe it is time for the 190 to find a good home with someone who appreciates it's rare value and beauty as a Mercedes Classic.. To answer some questions that have been asked:The 190 has two (2) sets of keys.The title is CLEAN and CLEAR. I have photos, if requested.It starts without any smoke.It IS mechanically sound.Mercedes Benz has all service records.NO cracks in any glass on the car, at all.Chrome is shiny and beautiful and NO dents.NO dents on body.Body is straight.All serial numbers match up, but the engine plate is absent. My mother believes it to be the original and we are looking into it.Leather has NO rips or tears.One owner for over 30 years- my father.Color- White DB-050Never been in a wreck
