Unforeseen personal circumstances have forced the sale of my well loved iconic Mercedes Benz turbodiesel wagon. I am only the third owner; it has covered only 167,144 miles and for many years it was garaged and not used during the winter months. I have always loved its tank-like solid feeling; the turbo provides good acceleration and the engine, transmission, and brakes drive perfectly. I just replaced the front tires (with a warranty, too) and the paint is shiny with only one rust spot near the rear window. I wax it myself! The interior looks amazing, MB-Tex, but there are a few minor cosmetic items such as as two small cracks on dash pad vinyl, a missing radio knob (radio works) and some stains on the rear deck carpeting. The huge manual sliding sunroof is a delight. If I wasn't going to sell it my to do list is short: recharge the a/c, replace the rear hatch pistons, replace the antenna mast (it went up, kept going and fell out!), replace the left reverse light bulb...I will include photos so you may see for yourself. The price is low because the rear suspension needs some work, but otherwise this car is in very rare and excellent condition! Very little rust! Undercarriage is in almost pristine condition!Bring cash because once you see this pretty classic TD you will want to take it home!!!It will be a very sad day for me.
