1987 Mercedes 190D, Low Mileage

1987 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series

Good condition, garaged, low mileage but with some issues, hence the low price. Always fresh fluids and filters. Newer glow plugs and all maintenance up to date. Garaged. Odometer stuck at 130,xxx but has about 145,000 miles. Engine very strong, smooth and quiet. Fires right up. Interior in great condition. Several engine seals replaced, new ignition, aftermarket stereo. A few hundred dollars worth of extras like shop manual, filters, synthetic ATF, transmission gasket and filter set, Diesel Purge kit, etc. Non-Turbo.
-Transmission slipping out between 3rd and 4th gear. I keep it in 3rd at about 55 mph max for local driving. I am told it is likely a vacuum issue.
-Wipers, sunroof and windows not working. Had a stereo replaced and a wire is crossed behind the dashboard causing the problem. Will need to be hunted down and sorted out for a fix.
-Rust at the jacking points. Can still be used with the jack.
Car can be driven fine, but as mentioned before I only drive it locally on occasion due to the transmission. Highway driving is kept to aminimum and I would bring a trailer if you are coming from far away.

Price is firm. Its set low already because I'm not into haggling and I'd like a quick sale for someone looking for something like this- its not a starting point to barter for an even lower price. Its set very fairly for what you are getting. I've been listing and showing the car for the past year or so, I'm in no rush to sell.
