What makes 1973 Model so special to collectors is that 1973 was the last year of Small Euro Bumpers being fitted on US-Spec R107 SL's...1974 onward US models were fitted with less attractive big US spec safety bumpers, and power robbing emission controls! 1972 Had manual only windows, while power windows was a new available option for 1973 on SL's. 1973 Mercedes began calling the 350SL, the 450SL (due to the 4.5L motor size they used inboth cars)

Production date build 6 (June)/1973, making it one of the last 1973 R107SL's built beforethe 1974 change in US Specification & emission restrictions lowering HP

Always garaged, this car was stored winters and only driven in nice conditions it seems, It has no rust in rockers or floors and a very solid undercarriage. Rockers are solid, see photos. The paint is a solid 8 I would say with minor chip here and there, new paint done 7 years ago

Dash is excellent, NO CRACKS. Blue upholstery is new and just redone, is soft and supple with no wear as shown, Carpets are new as well.

All glass, tires, trim, moldings, brakes, lights are very nice.

It has 3 ORIGINAL KEYS, lug wrench as well jack & a full size spare tire .
