QUESTIONS ?$$$? Pick up the Phone and Call! 702-353-7500 I do NOT Answer EMAILS Requesting Price Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a truck like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 29 years in thebusiness, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what the rarity is and how difficult it may be to find such a unique vehicle like this one. Do I have an asking price? Sure, I posted a Buy it Now right on the listing, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable sites. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With fourteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do. Real buyers with serious offers in mind, either bid and they almost always call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, one that is far above the average in condition, serviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look atthe vehicle closely and try to find another just like it with similar rarity and documentation. If you can't find one, just decide what it is worth to you to own it. That is what I did and all we can hope for is that you offer a bit more than I did so I can stay in business. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, I don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, the owner, enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations. Let's talk...Call me Doug 702-353-7500 In 1991, Walking into a Mercedes Benz dealership and finding this 560SEC coupe then falling in love so much so you had to take it home... well, that would set you back nearly $90k with taxes and all. 90k in 1991 would be like 200k or more in today's money. So when I get to tell you about this dream car that you couldn't justify back in 1991 can be had for a fraction of its original sticker, I'll bet you're going to get excited and read on some more...well let's hope so at least. Finding a well preserved 1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEC that isn't beat to death or one that has such low miles that the owner still thinks it's worth what he paid back in 1991 is tough. Seems like finding an extreme high quality car that's justifiable is harder that the latter two. Well, here it is. Beautiful, mechanically fantastic, extremely well maintained and stunning condition from top to bottom. As you peek through the hundreds of pictures, pay attention to the details and that we don't miss showing you them all. One thing our business prides itself on, you will get what you see and what you see IS "This Good". When a local lady walked into my dealership one day to talk about a Mercedes Benz she wanted to sell, I was all ears. I have loved this brand for decades and I especially love seeing examples that are in great condition and were maintained to keep them like that. Her car, this 1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEC is one of my favorites. This is the big body coupe that was nearly a six figure buy back in 1991. I was in the business back then at a Lincoln-Mercury store and our high end Town Car in the Cartier Series was tapping out at 30k... Those who could afford this Mercedes Benz were only the ultra-wealthy. Everyone else would drop down to the Mark VII LSC to pretend they had a luxury coupe. Now 26 years later, here is your chance to really enjoy this collectible ride and not set your retirement back to the dark ages. 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL VIN: WDBCA45E1MA572151 Odometer: 141,924 Exterior: Alpine White Interior: Gray Leather Built: 09-90 Stuttgart, Germany Standard and Optional Equipment 5.6 Liter SOHC V8 238hp @ 4,800 and 287 ft-lbs. torque @ 3,500 RPM 4-Speed Automatic Transmission Power Steering 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes with ABS Power Windows Power/Central Locking 10-Way Power/Heated Front Bucker Seats with Memory Power Head Rests Driver's Side Airbag Emergency Tensioning Seatbelt Retractors Power Telescoping Steering Column Sun Roof Overhead Console Anti-Theft System Lighted Vanity Mirror Visors Front and Rear Fold-Down Center Armrests Leather Interior Cruise Control Air Conditioning/Automatic Climate Control Heat Insulating Glass Rear Defrost Power Antenna Fog Lights Headlight Wipers Outside Temperature Indicator Leather Steering Wheel and Shift Knob Locking Storage Box Opening Storage Bins in Rear Shelf Carpeted Floor Mats 23.8 Gallon Fuel Tank Chrome Alloy Wheels Continental ContiTouring Contact 205/60R15 Steel Belted Radials Original First Aid Kit Original Tools/Jack Full Size Spare Tire First impressions are always important to me when I am buying a car...At a glance, has it been beat, abused or neglected from proper care? After 30 years in the business, I have a pretty good handle on quality cars. Newer or older, doesn't matter to me, it's all about the overall condition both cosmetically and mechanically. Usually one doesn't come without the other. When you get up close to this car, you instantly see that its overall condition is exceptional for 26 years old and 141k miles. One look inside and you'll instantly KNOW this car was treated with a great deal of care. The blemishes on this car are few and one would expect this car to have far less miles than it does when viewing the condition ANYWHERE on this car. Chips, pits and dents are extremely minimal, almost all are completely un-noticeable. The only noticeable flaw on the interior is in the rear of the headliner where you can see a small area of material hanging down. A good upholstery shop could make it look like new for peanuts. The burl wood is in great condition with few cracks in it surface. The exterior paint and body are in excellent shape with very few chips or blemishes. Again, we always show 100% of the car so nothing can be missed...as much as we can inspect. Do the same and I'm sure you will find that value in this great car. Extreme quality condition mechanically and cosmetically, ZERO rust or faulty components. It was also enjoyed and cared for to give it desert comfort and reliability in the harsh Las Vegas area deserts. Best of all, the service documentation is outstanding. We have records of recent services and dating back to 2000 when the car had 81668 miles on it. Spectacular interior looks almost new with power windows and locks, cruise control, telescopic steering, am/fm/cd/stereo, console storage, dual front airbags, everything works including the retractible seat belt mechanisms. Plenty of tread but older tires M117 5.6 Liter SOHC Alloy V8: 238hp @ 4,800 and 287 ft-lbs. torque @ 3,500 RPM (clean, dry and meticulously maintained since the day it was born) Looks exceptional under here too. A note from the owner. I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner and Chris, owner of A-Best Auto Repair in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do. No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, you’ll find me the most accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.” Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, the decision is no longer mine. I must sell at that number.
