1965 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Convertible
History; In mid 1963 the world of Mercedes cars change completely. The Mercedes 230 SL was Introduced on March 14, 1963 at the Geneva Auto Show. Eagerly awaited it created some sort of shock, when 1st revealed. It was neither a 300 SL nor 190 SL. It was a high-performance touring sports car with superior handling characteristics that could transport two passengers and their luggage in style, comfort and most of all safety. Although many of the SL's technical features were not new it was the combination and improvement that that made the SL special.
