1972 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series
| This is a rough 1972 mercedes 280se 4.5 column shift car that had unfortunately fallen into the wrong hands at some point. Some very poor driveway body work was attempted then it was parked outside for a number of years. Car was originally black with a red interior but most of the interior, With the exception of the seats is either missing or trashed. The car does roll, steer and stop. Shows about 112k on the odometer. Car will run and I have had it barely running when I picked it up but it is very rough. I would attribute this to the extremely smelly, bad fuel that is in the tank. I have no doubt it would run decent after the tank is drained and fresh fuel is put in. The trans shifted into drive but I did not manage to get it out of 1st gear in the few hundred feet it had to move under its own power. Sold as a parts car although it does have a title, not in my name however. This would be a great parts car to use for the engine/ trans/ rear end. Complete set of 14" bundt wheels. A lot of cosmetic parts are missing or junk. Please don't message asking to buy one peice off of the car. |
