1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 380SE

An elegant Mercedes, always complemented on looks. It was in a minor mishap and has been repainted at 166K miles. The paint job is very good. It provides a safe, roomyand comfortable ride, averaging about 20MPG using regular gasoline. The seats are in beautiful condition. It has been well maintained, synthetic oil changes every 5K since I have owned it. I have put about 33K miles on it, always garaged and not taken out in inclement weather. While the CD player works well, the radio does not come in like it should, probably a loose antenna connection, but I am not sure.There are wear signs on the windowsills of the doors, and some usual dash cracks found in these older vehicles. Good rubber on Michelin tires with about 40K miles of tread left. This I think would be an excellent vehicle for a student who appreciates fine automobiles for driving thru college career or a first time owner of a M-B. Nothing will get you there more safely. It will look really good in your driveway. What does it need now? Soon an oil change and routine transmission service. Then look forward to some happy motoring!
