This is a powerful, reliable, cool looking Mercedes Benz Convertible. The V8 engine combined with auto transmission was described by Top Gear as being "Rock Solid" and "One of the best engines ever designed". In the 560SL, Mercedes got it all just right, offering bullet-proof reliability, satisfying power, and aggressive good looks. This car would grace the driveway of even the largest mansion and impress the twitching curtains of the nosey neighbors. Whilst this car comes with vault-like build quality it must be accepted that this is a classic car and as with any used car of its age, there may be minor signs of wear and tear that become more obvious upon closer inspection. The bodywork however is in great shape and gives little clue of the car's age. The paintwork is fresh and the car has no accidents (as shown on AutoCheck). As a classic car there is no guarantee or warranty on this vehicle and it is sold as is. A vehicle inspection should be undertaken if the buyer is in any doubt. The car will be available for inspection in Cumming, Georgia throughout the auction period. The mileage on this vehicle is exempt as it is a classic car, but don't be discouraged as this terminology is frequently used in Georgia for vehicles over 10 years old. The odometer shows 97000 miles. This car is not new and will need regular maintenance in order to keep it running smoothly.
