Very clean, very quiet (no road noise) 242,500 mileage, two door, four seat, dual overhead cam V-8. These cars are well known for going 500,000 miles or more! Everything works, including the sun roof, electric seats, seat warmers, door locks, automatic radio antenna, gas cap & truck locking system, door lock system, etc. This is the 'loaded version', w/leather upholstery and all of the deluxe inclusions Mercedes had to offer in 1985. Still has nice lines and looks sharp! THIS car has a brand new, late model Pioneer Radio (IPOD ready, CD, w/remote) and all new four speakers. The tires and 4 wheel disk brakes are good. It includes a new spare tire, jack, general tools, and a first aid kit (all standard Mercedes issue). The transmission and engine work beautifully. Replaced Engine Timing Chain, just because. Always had regular oil & filter, air cleaner, automatic transmission oil and filter, etc.changes (logged); always kept in garage. It has anti-lock brakes and airbags and it's never been in an accident! The body is really in great shape with zero rust anywhere; Platinum Gold color, Tan interior. It's got a 'battery saver' device and a massive Brand New Interstate Glass Matt deep cycle 12v battery (which every Mercedes should have). Leave it parked for 6 months, jump in and it will start right up! It's been well maintained (I am the second owner). Its does have typical 25 year old car door dings and could use seat covers over the Leather Upholstery at this point, but I wouldn't hesitate piling my family in and driving it across country tomorrow! All of the glass, electric windows and rear window defroster are in good shape. The windshield is cracked. The A/C needs Freon recharging and the car's engine has only a minor oil leak (looks like front main seal). Still runs strong, smooth & healthy (a $65,000 car in 1985). This is as a reliable, very safe car as anything on the road today! I've got lots more pictures to share if you'd like (please call or email for more).
