The design of this model was the beginning of the new “modern” look for Mercedes-Benz, nd introduced to the US Market in 1972. This updated styling would be seen in all their designs introduced well into the 1980s. The 1972 350SL (with 4.5 Liter V8) were only offered in the US for one year, ater offered in 73 as a 450SL. With very limited production numbers many believe the 350SL to be the next to enjoy values that have risen steadily over the last number of years …
