THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1990 Mercedes Benz GD300 4MATIC 2-DOOR SUV!
Finished in original color"Silber" Metallic over black, this unique two-door G Wagen has been driven 216,589 KILOMETERS [approximately 130,000 MILES]. It sports a great running naturally aspirated 3.0 liter inline six cylinder diesel engine mated to a factory 5 speed manual transmission, four wheel drive with working low gear ratio selector, 18" black AMG wheels with Yokohama rubber, Blaupunkt am/fm/cassette stereo, electric windows and more. It is being sold with a clean and clear Pennsylvania title. This G was purchased about a year ago from Seldon Motors for $25,000 plus $1,000 shipping to California. It is now located here in Redwood City, California. Selling due to inability to register here in this state along with the fact that I have too many other vehicles.

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this 300GDis in good but NOT concourse show-quality condition overall. The paint has a nice overall shine with some miscellaneous rock nicks, faded spots, scuffs and repainted/touched-up areas along with a few small corrosion spots.

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this classic Benz is in good to very good condition overall. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, radio and horn work well.Imperfections inside this G include: both door panels have loose grips, the seat cushions have some wear and tear, right window switch is inop, the shifter handle is all worn with loose attachment. Overall this is still a quite handsome, comfortable and solid original cockpit. I do NOT have the rear bench seat.

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1990 Benz starts perfectly with excellent running six cylinder diesel engine, very good shifting manual transmission, super solid braking, tight and responsive steering and REALLY strong shake-free suspension. While it certainly will not win a drag race against a new G63, It hums down the highway with a top speed of almost 90 miles per hour. I just drove the car 500 miles without any incident.

1. This 1990is being sold with clear and clear title. I am told by the California DMV that it CANNOT, in it's current state, be registered here in California so... IT CAN ONLY BE SOLD TO A NON-CALIFORNIA BUYER!
