1976 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series

Car was driven until about 3 yrs ago and placed in a garage. Absolutely beautiful interior. Leather is amazing as well as dash and wood trim. Exterior very nice for the age car. Paint still shines. Car starts up immediately with a quick turn of the key. Since car has been sitting for a few years, will need muffler and tires and a tune up. If I kept the car I would have all belts and hoses checked to assure easy driving. but that's just me......I'm OCD. I believe I am the 3rd owner based on title. Lots of receipts, owner manuals, books. Car has alloy rims but also comes with a set of matching color keyed hubcaps. Again, car will need some attention to be safely road worthy. Great chrome, glass is great. I did notice a little popping in the steering wheel when you turn. A rust bubble behind driver's side rear wheel. (see pic) Inside trunk passenger side in wheel well looks to have held moisture (see pic) and has rusted through. Other than that....very solid car! Moonroof opens with ease. Drivers windows opens with ease. Passenger and rear switches probably need a little attention. New switch in glovebox. Again, car turns head and is not beat up AT ALL but will need a little TLC from someone who appreciates the old 450 SE's. Great body style....pure elegance for not a lot of money! If you want a cool classic......this is it. Again, car will need some love but I'm not asking much and it's certainly not a piece of junk......has lots of potential and will not need much to enjoy everyday. I lowered the reserve so with the right bid.....this classic could be yours. Car can ship anywhere in the world but buyer is responsible for all costs and logistics involved. Car will need to be picked up by you or carrier at your costs.
