Up for NO RESERVE AUCTION is this very beautiful Astral Silver Metallic1983 Mercedes 380 SL. Only 125000 original miles! That’s an average of less than 3800 miles a year its whole life. Most SL’s of this vintage have a lot more miles but this little beauty has been used sparingly all its life. Sold new in Santa Monica California it has been here it's entire life. Not only do I have the original window sticker ($44,281.00) but I also have extensive service and repair records for many many years. It recently had new brakes, water pump, fuel pump and had a full service. Lovingly cared for always garaged, it’s in very beautiful condition. The paint is very smooth shiny. One small spot on the top on the drivers side front fender. If you have ever owned or driven one of these fine automobiles, you know how wonderful automobiles they are. Just running around town is fun, and a top-down ride on a beautiful day is pure pleasure! I have driven SL’s for over 36 years, I can tell you, this is an extremely nice car. Soft top is only a year old and is like new. Hard top also included. The original spare tire is in the trunk. There is a bit of paint discolor on the hard top only.The seats are original and in decent shape but they have brand new genuine sheep skin seat covers, and have lots of padding making it very comfortable and elegant. The AC and all gauges work including the clock. If you have ever wanted an SL of this vintage but don’t want to nurse a worn out car then this is the car for you! 125000 miles are nothing to a good well cared for Mercedes, I recently drove one with 800K miles on it and it still drove good. These are the last of the “good” Mercedes. 380 SL’s are the best of the 107 series because they are powerful, smooth but will get up to 25mpg! That’s amazing for a car like this. Not a 100 point show car, but a car you will be proud to drive and own. Drive this beauty everyday for the price of a used Camry. It has a new high quality Sony sound system with SiriusXM capability.
