1972 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 350SL R107 Roadster

A truly exceptional example of a first model year 1972 Mercedes 350SL with very desirable factory short chrome bumpers and only 62,700 Actual miles. This early production model 107 body was built in 12/1971.

The original 4.5 liter V8 runs super smooth and powerful and the automatic transmission shifts flawlessly through all gears. All instrument gauges are working properly including the original clock. A/C blows cold and heather hot. The original factory Becker AM/FM stereo works well as does the power antenna. All exterior and interior lights are also working properly.

The body is laser straight with Zero signs of rust or previous rust. The Beautiful and high quality white paint has a deep mirror like shine with very few if any imperfections to mention. There is some cracking in the paint on both the rear lower quarter panels below the bumper which is actually the only visible patina on the entire car. Hub caps are excellent and have newer Bridgestone tires all around.The Beautiful short chrome bumpers, grill and trim are in excellent condition as well. This 350SL comes with the original matching hard top and black soft top. Both excellent with the exception of a small area with a slight discoloration on the soft top plastic rear window.

The interior is as remarkable as the exterior showing very minimal wear on the black leather seats, carpets, door panels and dash. The leather seats are soft and supple with no sagging. Steering wheel is excellent and no cracks on the dash. The trunk and engine compartment are also Very Tidy.

Included with the sale are the original owners manuals, convertible top tool, hard top and Florida title showing actual miles. An outstanding 350SL that is ready to show or just enjoy.
