I took over this car from my in-laws in 2009 and only drove about 2,500 miles since.My in-laws purchased it used so there are three owners of record for this car.It has always been garaged and I changed oil every year although I rarely ever drove it. The car still runs great!
- Recently replaced radiator and water pump.
- The soft-top was replaced about 8 years ago and rarely ever used after the replacement.The color of the soft-top is black and look great.
One known issue: AC stopped working so I had it diagnosed from a Mercedes repair place. After a dye test, it was determined that the compressor is working fine but the gasket right above the compressor is where Freon leaks. They quoted me $450 to fix it, almost all of it in labor cost. I decided not to repair it since I rarely ever drive this car. I DO NOT guarantee that this diagnosis was correct. I would personally install a new compressor while fixing the gasket since the mechanic would have to remove it anyhow. Cosmetic blemishes: I marked on pictures as best as I can so please refer to the pictures with this list.
Driver seat has a small patch of worn leather and a quarter size tear on the seat.
Dash has two hairline cracks about 3 to 4 inches long.You can see one of the cracks and the other one is about the same.
Top of the trunk has some scratches I am showing on one of the pictures.They are not deep scratches.I do not really see any other noticeable scratches around the body of the car but I do not know how picky you are.
This car was involved in one accident when my mother-in-law got hit on the passenger door side in a low speed collision.
I am including a roof pulley system which can be mounted above to lift the hardtop.As I mentioned on the picture, I have never used it and do not know if all the components are in the box.I am including this “free” and I cannot guarantee the completeness.The original car manual and hardtop removal tool are included as well.
