Only 951 of these cars were produced globally, and this one had a particularly interesting journey - it was purchased by a collector inJapan in the early 1970sand imported to that city via the Western Automobile Company of Tokyo. Many years later, it was renovated in Japan by that same collector, who passed away shortly thereafter.His collection was purchased by another collector in California, who brought it back across the Pacific to the US.
