230 SL Automatic 6 Cylinder 150 hp 2306 cc Mechanical Fuel Injection Early 1966 US model 230SL in light Yellow DB630 tan leatherette and tan canvas soft top always stored in the boot compartment. Repainted years ago in light yellow DB630 giving the car a very classic distinctive look for this modern mid 1960s Pagoda. Mercedes advertised the Pagoda as 3 cars in one; a roadster (built in boot cover) a convertible (manual) and a coupe (removable hardtop). The chrome and trim are in good condition all around. Recent improvements including new battery & voltage regulator steering and rear end repairs have made the car mechanically dependable. The automatic shifts smoothly. Handling is superb and the 6 cylinder exhaust note will put a smile on your face. Other features are new white wall tires correct two piece dog dish hubcaps and trim rings correct Blaupunkt radio and an ivory steering wheel that shows its patina. Hardtop includes a mobile stand. Car has placed first and second in recent peer judged shows and completed a trouble free 700 mile trip to Amelia Island for the 2015 Cars and Coffee event which featured SLs. I am the fourth owner. There is extensive documentation from the second and third owner that authenticates the 83000 plus original miles. An excellent investment you can drive and enjoy now.
