1982 Mazda RX-7
This was my mother-in-law’s 1982 RX-7 purchased new. It was last registered in 2013 when she was no longer able to drive (at age 87…she recently passed at 99), and stayed parked in the garage ever since. The car has 100,000 miles, rolls, has brake and clutch pedal, tires hold air and the 5-speed gearbox moves freely. A/C and sunroof. I have not tried to start it and will leave that to someone familiar with rotary motors to properly prep before it cranks. I am not aware of any mechanical problems with the car (beyond non-operation for 12 years), but obviously it must be sold as-is, with no warranty or assurances. See pictures for some minor dents/scratches; there is a small crack in the windshield. Interior is in excellent condition. Always in California, it has no rust and has always been garaged. The car is listed for sale locally in the Ventura area and must be sold before we bring the estate to close. Inspection can be made by appointment only, but please be patient as no family members are nearby to show the car and will need some travel time. We will assist in coordinating pickup and flatbed hauling. No consignment offers, holds, trades….cash only. $1000 deposit required upon acceptance of an offer.
