1991 Mazda Miata BRG Special Edition, 130k miles, Tan Leather Interior, hardtop
1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata BRG Special Edition Biscuit Leather Interior
Purchased by me in Oct 2006 at 85k miles, now at 130,500. Special edition British Racing Green with biscuit interior, looks nice, these are not "glamour" photos, just pics out in my driveway today, it really looks a lot better with the dust washed clean.Runs strong, quiet and steady; timing belt, water pump, cam cover and oil pan gaskets and rear seal done approx 2,000 miles ago; new clutch, pressure plate and battery 1,500 miles ago. Always tried to use genuine Mazda parts if available. Brakes were done about 15k ago. All work done professionally by a well-known and respected shop in my area.Koni adjustable height coil-over shocks front and rear, RB Motion front sway bar, front shock tower stabilizer bar. Shocks currently set on medium height position and soft ride but are easily accessible and adjustable. Optional ABS package. Limited slip rear differential works great, not gummed up like so many are.Fresh air engine intake turn signals, anodized front tow hook, minilite/Panasport style wheels, H4 headlamp conversion (in days before LED).Interior is very good condition, some wear especially on the driver seat bolster but pretty much everything else is clean and complete. Special edition Leather Biscuit upholstery. Electric windows, cruise control, A/C. Speakers in headrests have been rewired correctly and replaced with upgraded MAX-5 speaker boxes in the headrests and some nicer speakers in the door panels (Infinity 2-way coaxial if I recall correctly). Original special edition wood handbrake handle remains like new and also SE Nardi wooden gear shift knob is included, just not pictured, I currently have a comfortable black ball know installed but its simple to replace the wooden one.Factory hardtop and soft top still in place; the soft top has a glass window and the zipper is misaligned so lies flat on the rear interior deck.Have original wheels (and probably original tires on them) and some extra parts lying around as well as all original parts that were replaced such as the stock front turn signals. All included with the car.I have complete service records for the time I have owned the Miata, and I believe I also have the previous owner's log book. Also quite a little bit of Miata-related trinkets if the buyer is interested in that sort of thing.Car does not get driven much these days, approx 600 miles per year but is periodically maintained washed and driven to keep it up. Just registered, good until May 2026, ought to reduce transfer costs if staying in California.Original California car, no rust, everything maintained by an enthusiast from original. Really could use a wash and a good wax job, then I would be asking another thousand lol. If it doesn't sell then I might be forced to clean it up a bit more but it is pretty nice just as it sits.I live in the San Francisco/Sacramento area of California. You can come here to see and buy the car, and I may be able to arrange delivery to an area limited by maybe 500 miles or so, but will have to be compensated in advance for any delivery option. I will strictly require cash on the barrel head when picking up the car, no checks, no cards or phones, no ebay payment, no paypal...cash only please. Will work with shipping company to send a truck out to pick up the car after full payment made if cannot pick up in person.
