Our 1985 Mazda RX-7GS was purchased new by its first owners from Downers Grove Mazda in 1985.Exterior color is Tornado Silver Metallic over red interior. Has a 12A engine with a Dellorto Weber 45 IDA system and a Racing Beat Inlet manifold Intake. This 12a includes a Racing Beat Header, Racing Beat Pre Silencer into a custom straight pipe and with a Racing Beat Classic Muffler Made in Italy version. Currently the RX-7 shows original miles and can provide all documents since new; from Lease payment booklets and final end financed purchase orders later in the years of ownership. I have Mazda records since PDI miles which were 40miles recorded before its delivery day. This RX7 went through its entire Factory service interval records. The six-digit odometer shows right now 78,007miles with all records on its current carfax reported, all miles of which were added under the only ownership since new. She’s been stored since 2004- 2024 in a garage but the car was always started to a warm idle and motor had been rotated during storage period. I did have a chance to start the car without an issue recently! Before any driving in its current state: The car will need a full safety inspection, drain all fluids, gas lines, and have the current gas tank cleaned. Some of the minor things since in she’s been in the garage for 20yrs: The driver’s tail lamp has a chip; the power antenna is removed; underneath minor surface rust, minor rock paint chips, has paint fade and some scratches, very little dings and dents in some areas. The RX7 is currently with the Stock 13″ four-spoke alloy wheels with BF Goodrich race tires. In the late 90s they used the car for daily use and then started motorsport events with the car. At one point this car was Fully sponsored by BF Goodrich from 1996-2002 which always placed in 1st place in its class, The couple were very well known for their Racing local and national events they hosted for charity on their off time.
