This 1985 Mazda RX-7 13B is a lot of fun to drive and starts great conversations with people. This is the GSL SE "5 letter" FB that has the bigger 13B engine with fuel injection. People say this particular engine is one of the most reliable and durable of all the rotaries. The compression test gives piece of mind that the apex seals are working fine. The exterior is a sunrise red, while the interior is gray, which many prefer over the many brown and gold exteriors and the red interiors. This RX-7 comes with a number of features, including power windows, AM/FM stereo, air conditioning, electric mirrors, cloth seats, power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, limited slip differential, and 16" Konig Maxxim alloy wheels with brand new Nitto Neo Gen performance tires.

Jay Leno and Doug Demuro test drove a GSL SE and both liked it alot, but both complained of the manual steering. This one is one of the few that have power steering. If you know about FB RX-7s, you know this model is the one to get for the suspension, brakes, limited slip diff, preferable gear ratios, larger front wheel bearings, and the list goes on. So many items are unique to the GSL SE besides the fuel injected 13B and it was only made 2 years.
New moon roof seal installed, new NGK 4 prong spark plugs, new belts, fresh oil change, brake and clutch fluid replaced, new Super Pro idler arm bushing set ordered from Australia. Fairly new exhaust with aftermarket cat. Paint has been touched up, polished and waxed. Rust issues have been fixed by welding in fresh metal in the wheel wells and under the "bin" area. This is a structurally sound car.
Nice spares include extra hatch shock (not presently needed), 2 new rear shocks (not presently needed), Energy Suspension bushing kit, Racing Beat springs.
The issues: Cruise control and AC are not working. Power windows work slower than expected. High beams do not come on.
