This 1979 Mazda RX-7 was first registered in Florida in 1987 with its family, and it remained in their family through all these years. The RX7 was always garage kept and always won top 3 in its class! The Family owned this 1979 Mazda RX-7 which was modified for Autocross events / for daily use.
The power comes from its Pettit Racing PBR1 12a Street ported Wankel rotary motor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a replacement GSL-specification rear axle with a limited-slip differential. Racing Beat supplied the exhaust system consisting of a Road Race header feeding a Street Port dual-pipe center section with pre-silencers and a Power Pulse muffler. The motor is mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a Racing beat clutch kit and lightweight fly wheel. It features include a Weber 45 DCOE carburetor Tune for autocross / daily use, a Mallory140 fuel pump also with its Malloryfuel pressure regulator, FC 2000 Direct Electronic ignition Controller System, has an under-drive pulley, an aluminum radiator, and a stock oil cooler fitted with custom lines.The oil metering pump was removed and blanked, and the previous owner states this car runs on fuel that is premixed at a 1:128 ratio with two-stroke oil. All fluids were changed and were performed in 2020.
Toyo Proxes T1-S all around, 15″ Kosei rims, Eibach springswith Ground Control coil over in the Front, Front Racing Beat sway bar,Rear Eibach Springs with tokico 5-way adjustable shock. Rear Racing Beat sway bar, Tri-link rear suspension with energy suspension bushings all around. The car has an option for a panhard bar, upgraded four-wheel disc brakes for best stopping power, Earl brake lines, larger brake rotors all around with hawk pads. This modified Mariah Motorsports dream RX-7 will have extra parts included, this RX7 has a respectable number of parts which were removed for the custom paint in 2006 which will be included with the purchase. The cabin features Stock seats and stock components, the interior will have to be put together again which I will include all its interior parts and carpet.
The stereo and speakers have been removed as the car was for autocross, it was why the interior was removed sourced was when the car was painted in 2006. The stock tachometer with a 7k-rpm redlines flanked by a 130-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with an inset clock. The odometer reads 32k miles TMU. The body is said to have been repainted in 2006 to MazdaTitanium Gray Metallic(25G) with its Blue Racing stripes. Itfeaturesa full Mariah Motorsports Mode 4 front air dam, Mariah Motorsport Mode 4 side skirts, Mariah Motorsports Mode 4 Full rear section, and Mariah Motorsports Mode 4 rear spoiler, Vitaloni Baby Turbo mirrors. The car has Paint nicks, chips, and other blemishes can be viewed in the pictures below.
