1993 Mazda RX-7

1993 Mazda RX-7109,XXX milesClean title, clean CarfaxCurrent VA State inspectionSpent its entire life garage kept in Virginia99.9% of miles were under the original ownerLocated in Richmond VA. I’ve shipped a few cars so happy to help you arrange that or get you a quote. If you need to finance, Lightstream.com offers unsecured loans, usually within 24-48 hours.
The motor is original. It drives well and is perfect for taking to cars and coffee or leisurely drives. If you want to modify it, I’d suggest first refreshing the motor given the mileage.
I am the second owner. The previous owner bought it new from Pye Acura/Mazda in TN (Now Chattanooga Acura) in 1993 when they turned 40 and owned it from 1993 to 2022. He said it was the first FD they sold. Carfax shows 2nd owner due to the original owner re-registering it after a divorce into their name only.
*All original and stock with the exception of a Racing Beat muffler which was recently installed due to pin holes in the stock muffler. It smells just like 1993 inside (in a good way).*Includes 3 original keys (2 primary and secondary) and key tag, wheel locks, sunroof tool, period leather bra, fitted cover, original 1993 large format dealer brochure, mint complete owners manual set (owners manual, leather binder, business cards from original sale, quick reference guide, road side assistance booklet with cards, maintenance leaflet, Yokohoma warranty brochure, Mazda tire booklet, mint warranty book with all cards intact, Bridgestone tire brochure, radio manual and dealership delivery check list)*Complete service records from 1996 to current day*Per original owner, it was maintained by the selling dealer through the warranty period, then serviced by Mazda dealer or the same mechanic for the following 20 years. Owner typically changed the oil annually regardless of mileage. Oil/filter change at 108,000 in 2020, then changed again at 109,000 when they prepared it for sale.*AC and heat work on all seatings. All lights, speakers, cruise etc work.

It has some of the common RX7 issues, but nothing you can’t fix on your own as you enjoy it:*The dash works intermittently. The previous owner said disconnecting the battery usually caused it to come back on, but I haven’t had much luck, it seems to come and go on its own.*Oil pressure gauge fluctuates. It was tested with w/ a mechanical gauge and found to be within spec.*Power sunroof opens, but requires being closed manually w/ the tool*I connected a boost gauge and it showed the correct 10-7-10 boost pattern, but I still don’t feel like it boost perfectly all the time, granted its my first and only RX7 or turbo car, so could be normal. I replaced maybe 25% of the vacuum lines (the easy to get to ones) which are usually the culprit. The remaining vacuum line replacement kit to do 100% of them is included*Clunk from the rear end. J Auto pillow ball bearing kit is included to address this*Drips oil from somewhere. Not a ton, but if it sits after driving I’ll see a drop or two on the floor later*Driver’s door inside handle trim missing*Crack in dash speed surround*Hand brake light comes on sometimes (just needs to be adjusted, sensor thinks it is pulled up unless you push it down really hard)*It look stunning from 10 feet away, but the paint shows its age up close with some scratches, dings and clear coat peeling. Same with the interior. For its age/mileage I think its exceptionally clean.
