Vehicle Details

1991 Mazda MX-6 Coupe 2-door 2.2L gasoline engine 5-Speed transmission 93K Miles. Very good condition. EXCELLENT DAILY DRIVER CAR. Manual windows/locks. Intermittent wipers. 25 mpg ave. city/highway. Cold AC/Hot heat. This has been my daily driver for 6 years added 50K miles to it (93K today) and it's very reliable (back in the 90s these cars lasted up to 300K miles). Spirited handling for a compact car with a softer, more comfortable ride than today's modern compact cars have. I regularly drove it on 200-mile road trips (more on maintenance history farther below) and the seats are comfortable enough for that kind of trip. ~5 yr old JVC stereo with Bluetooth, etc. and new speakers with subwoofer in trunk (2/2017). Front in-dash speakers have bass suppressors - concert quality sound! The original 1991 Mazda radio comes with the car (in a box) in case you want to reinstall it. No rust issues. Sheet metal is straight with a few small door ding dents (about the size of a $0.25 coin). Paint is original and is fading on the hood, roof, trunk deck lid and on the bumpers. Lots of maintenance and repairs have been done by a local mechanic shop (I can provide receipts): New air filter 12/2022. New battery 8/2022; Exhaust pipe repair (4/2022); Replaced Shifter bushings/spacer (12/2020); Manual Transmission drain/fil (12/2020). Replaced reverse light bulb (12/20); Replaced taillight seals 2/2018 (56k mi); Replaced Rt Rear Running Light (6/2019); Repaired loose wire/Idle Issue (9/2017); Replaced AC Switch (5/2017). Replaced Alternator belt, AC belt, Timing belt, replaced coolant, (all 5/2017). Replaced clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder (3/2017). Bleed/Flush Brake System (3/2017). Replaced spark plugs and wire set (8/2016). PS Flush and Transmission flush (8/2016); Induction cleaning (8/2016). Replaced upper/lower radiator hoses (7/2016), plus regular oil changes / air filter changes, plus I added springs to the wiper blades to keep them wiping well at high speeds. The car has a few minor issues: Needs new tires. Needs new rubber trunk seal (it's ok in normal rain but leaks a lot in a car wash so I just avoid going into those. The hood opener pull works, but the plastic has cracked. Needs one CV boot replacement (front left); Passenger door hinge pins need adjustment - the door closes hard. Cruise Control doesn't work.
