Up for auction is the most unique, completely hand sculpted, sheetmetal widebody FD RX7 ever built! It is being offered as a roller/builder in this auction. Complete car as you see, less drivetrain. This will allow the buyer to decide the most appropriate powertrain to install. Rotary, 2JZ, LSx, LTx, you decide! Car was designed by myself and meticulously and tediously built over a ten year period. This car has won " Best in Show" in every car show it has entered including Hot Import Nights! I have owned it for many years, had many different powertrains in it and had my fun. I recently sold the powertrain out of it in favor of doing a new build but have decided to see if anyone wants her more than I do and for them to finish her in their image.

Every single panel on the car was made by hand. The entire unibody sculpted out of sheetmetal. The hood and front clip hand made in solid fiberglass and blocked many times to get a glass like shine. She has top quality components from Ferrari, Aston Martin and Lotus integrated into the concept.

The chassis has been thoroughly and thoutghfully upgraded with track in mind. All factory bushing have been upgraded to delrin bushings with stainless liners and internal greasing. Suspension has been upgraded to the Max with Stance Pro Comp 3, three way adjustable and fully hight adjustable coilovers on swift springs. The ride quality is superb in my opinion. The sway bar is a billet adjustable piece from tripoint engineering. Rear swaybar was also upgraded along with adjustable tie rods and trailing arms. The brakes are absolutely massive and beautiful! K Sport Monster 8 piston calipers and 2 piece 16" floating rotors. They fill the wheels entirely and are quite a sight to see (10k in brakes). Rear end consists of a custom 2" chromoly tubular subframe holding a Ford Cobra 8.8" aluminum independent differential with Ford racing gears and Detroit Locker. Finishing off the power transfer through DSS 300M billet axles and ARP wheel studs. The rear end was build to handle 1500+hp. The wheels are one of a kind 3 piece set, 19x16.5f and 20x20r (10k in wheels). Tires are toyo r888 345mm f and Mickey Thompson 465mm r. Absolutely Enormous!

She has the 18gal aluminum fuel cell floating in rear and interior is mostly stock other than custom gauge cluster, steering wheel and aluminum inner and outer door handles. Oversize aluminum radiator w twin fans is included snd will keep any powerplant running cool.

The under side of the car was just sanded and undercoating with black urethane bedliner and looks better than original. The engine bay is as pictured. It was recently sanded and painted in a neutral and classy matte charcoal to compliment any color the body may be. It also has heat shielding and sound shielding underneath and inside the engine bay as pictured. Ready for your choice of powerplant to go in!

You are buying a roller with no drivetrain and will need to install your choice of engine, transmission and drives shaft as well as necessary wiring to complete the car into a driver. She does have a chip in the front bumper from storage and is not perfect but very close to the condition in the pictures. Also, one of the rear rims has light flaking in the chrome. I had planned to paint the wheels and do a color change on the car soon. The factory interior plastic is known to crack easily. The interior of this car is in good condition with all pieces in good usable condition. The seat covers will need replacing soon.
