Vehicle DetailsFor your consideration, we have a 1994 Mazda RX7 Touring Montego blue with black and tan interior. The car was an original 5-speed manual and has 102,xxx miles.
The Mazda lived most of its life in Florida before which is one reason for its beautiful body and underbody.
The car was purchased coming up on two years ago from a gentleman that was 71 years old. His son originally purchased the car as the 2nd owner. After purchasing the car from his son, his wife drove the car for several years. I was pleased to see the car was exceptionally well taken care of when I drove from Michigan to Ohio in Feb. of 2020.
The car as stated had a rotary engine when purchased. My intentions for the car were to immediately remove the original drivetrain and do an engine swap.
The car was swapped with a 2JZGTE VVTI. Compression numbers (will provide photos upon request were taken about a month ago, and can do again) 150 across the board give for take 5 psi.
The car is tuned on a link Fury ECU and was tuned by Diversion Tuning out of Australia.
The car currently makes right around 600 whp on e85. The car is full flex fuel so you can run 93 or e85, you don’t need to switch the tune it will automatically detect ethanol content.
The 2JZGTE’s power along with the new Borg Warner s369 goes through a new Tremec Magnum F transmission to the rear ford 8.8 rear end with Detroit Tru Trac.
