The car is finished in Tornado Silver Metallic over black and powered by a 1.1-liter 12A rotary engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Features include 13″ alloy wheels, dealer installed air conditioning which still works, a rear stabilizer bar, a rear window defroster, an electric hatch release, and cargo area luggage straps. This SA22C now shows 56k miles and is offered with partial records, a window sticker, rust protection documentation, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Tennessee title in my name.
The exterior is finished in Tornado Silver Metallic (K8) and features black side moldings, dual-outlet exhaust, and pop-up headlights.
The roof, hood, and trim paint shows fading, and cracks in the paintwork are visible.
Optional 13″ Togo Kogyo waffle alloy wheels are wrapped in 185/70 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, and a rear stabilizer bar is fitted.
The interior features seats upholstered in black vinyl with cloth inserts and a black dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a rear window defroster, an electric hatch release, and an optional Mazda cassette stereo. There are cracks in the dash above the gauge cluster, see pictures. The fuse for the windshield wipers is currently pulled because the wipers stay on continuously with the fuse installed.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, a 85-mph speedometer, a quartz analog clock, and fuel level and coolant-temperature gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles.
The carbureted 1.1-liter 12A rotary engine was factory rated at 100 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. The fluids were checked and the oil was changed in August 2022.
