The Mazda RX7 is one of the most iconic cars of all time and made Car and Driver Magazine’s Ten Best list 5 times. It has also become famous through film and video games appearing in The Fast and the Furious, Need for Speed and Gran Turismo to name a few.
This awesome Classic 1988 RX7 Convertible has only 53K miles and has been treated with care. This was originally from North Carolina where I purchased it in 2005. It has never been driven on dirt or gravel roads and never been driven in the snow or rain. It has been primarily a weekend car and not an everyday driver and has always been garaged. It has been registered and inspected every year and is mechanically sound. Everything on the car is original. This car turns heads wherever I go. It will probably be the cleanest RX7 you will ever see on EBAY. It has been well maintained, driven gently and still performs like new. Mazda built the RX7 with quality to be sturdy, light, fast and sexy. The rotary engine and transmission are mechanically perfect. It’s very smooth and has amazing acceleration in all gears. Coupled with the 5 speed manual transmission it really has a lot of get up and go and handles like a go-cart on steroids. The interior has a neat cockpit feel to it and the seats hold you in place nicely. The RX7 was designed as a sports car and is a blast to drive on twisty back roads on a sunny day with the top down but is also very smooth and quiet for long distance highway driving. It comes complete with original manuals and a car cover which I use when garaged.
