Ok, so here it is. I found this truck in a pasture.I was thinking, man, that would make a hell ova pro street truck and I've got a brand new 383 stroker crate motor looking for a home. I talked the old man into selling it to me. We loaded it up and took it back to my shop. My neighbor has a paint and body shop and comes over to our shop like clock work at 5 o'clock everyday with a twelve pack and we tell lies...
He walks in and goes damn man!!! Where did you find that rotary at? I'm thinking he was talkin about a damn clock or something. Anyway I say, what the hell you sayin Leanord? (His names leanord btw) He says, that repu! Where'd ya find that at? Those are hard to come by! My first reply was, Pee you who!!??!! He says the damn truck Michael John, it's a repu... (my name is Michael btw) And I say, well Leanord, your gonna cut this little boy up and put a nice new suit on it while me and the girls figure out how to squeeze that pretty V8 in his pants...Leanord dropped his beer and says, oh to hell I am!!! I don't want that kinda karma following me around!!I never knew Leanord to be a religious kinda man but I guess the car gods speak to people in their own little ways. Anyhow, Leanord got out another beer, took mine away, and said, Liston her ole son, if you don't restore that truck back to the way them little kids over seas built it I ain't gonna touch it and neither are you.Well, I wanted my beer back more then I wanted to argue with Leanord so this is how you and I came to meet. You buy this little import hot rod and you can deal with Leanord and his karma and I'll sit back and drink another beer!
