Maserati Quattroporte III Q3 - excellent interior, no rips, body original paint
1984 Maserati Quattroporte
For sale is my 1984 Maserati Quattroporte III. Overall would rate the car at least a 6 out of 10 - please keep in mind this is a car that is 40 years old, and is an old Italian car which comes with it's own set of issues!. The transmission and engine are both running well, the transmission shifts through all of the gears with no issues.
The car has had some work done over the past 4 years I have owned it:
Rebuilt carburetors - 4 twin Weber 40DCOE down drafts
Brakes serviced, and although they still are a little soft, they are more than capable of stopping this 2 Ton car from 70 mph
Engine and gearbox fluids recently changed
The car has its original bodywork and paint but does have some surface rust and corrosion underneath, no holes, nothing structural. The paint shows well - not perfect - but looks great from 5 feet when washed. The paint it shows various flaws (chips, light scratches, and a few small rust bubbles, but overall is very presentable. It does have two small areas of rust above the rear wheel arches, and another next to the windshield. The sunroof needs adjusting as it has dropped at the back but it is still watertight.
Campagnolo alloys in very good condition, with good tires.
The A/C system is charged and worked last time I used it.
All electrics, including the power seats work. The front seats are super comfortable, super soft nappa rouched leather. The rear seats are in excellent shape. The wood trim and interior leather trim is all in excellent shape, including the suede on the dashboard. The headliner is sagging in the back, which is pretty normal.
The car comes with a brand new top of the line waterproof Budge fitted car cover (worth $130).
