What you see here is a Lotus 7 replica built circa 2012 with a Mazda Miata 1.8 liter turbo charged engine.(but titled as a 1972 Lotus 7 with the appropriate vin plate)This car has too many features to list in entirety, so you can contact me if you have specific questions as necessary.You'll notice there is storage space(a small truck) at the rear which I added(I own a machine shop) for two small overnight bags.The car has developed a miss under hard acceleration, especially around 5000 rpms, so please be aware of it.It has an Electromotive Tec-S ignition system and I recently replaced the TPS sensor, so it might simply need a TPS reset, but I'm not sure.Whoever gets the car will have to sort that out and it is "as-is"- but I'm letting you know upfront.As you can see from the following YouTube videos taken just a day before this listing it still drives pretty well(though I'd recommend the purchaser still trailer it back to their house and/or facility on their own or via U-Ship):https://youtu.be/LINexmVg_iA(notice the GPS speedometer takes around 1 minute to register/work, which is normal)https://youtu.be/itMbB8x-U-shttps://youtu.be/rygZ-yf5ex0The space frame is pretty close to the original Lotus 7 design from the seats forward and uses a Miata subframe as part of the rear suspension with custom GAZ shock/springs(with adjustment on the rear) and adjustable upper a-arms on the rear. The drivetrain itself is late 90's Miata(engine, transmission, differential, etc.). The Front suspension arms are Kinetic.It's a good looking "10 foot" car, but you can see some imperfections up closer when you're looking for them. It still gets a lot of attention/love on the road...especially at the local cars & coffee.This is a special car for the right person, but if you're picky or not prepared for this style of car enthusiasm please do not bid.
