Offering my beautiful Monaco White, over soft, black leather 1987  Turbo Esprit HCI (High Compression Injection) for sale. 26K original miles. Had been reported stolen in the early 1990's, then recovered, hence the title issue. Comes with factory workshop manual/Service Notes, parts book, owner's manual, vinyl bag for the removable top, and orig. tool kit with hard case, jack, + the Certificate of Provenance from Andy Graham at Lotus. Only six cars out of the 159 built were produced in Monaco White with black leather in 1987. Spare wheel/tire never on the ground. New front tires, front & rear hood struts, battery, fuel pumps, fuel filter, spark plugs, + oil & filter. New timing belt and the 3 other belts have recently been purchased, but need to be installed, which I have started in on. Runs excellent, but I believe the clutch disc is stuck to the pressure plate from lack of use. Retains the original stereo radio, complete with factory Blaupunkt speakers. I have a 2.5 min. walk-around video taken last week, which I can email you, if interested. Your inspection is welcome. It's a gorgeous, show ready car that needs a couple of tweaks to be driven regularly. Last I checked, all lights, horn, wipers, windows, radio, antenna functioned as they should. Located in Southeastern CT near Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. I will provide secure, dry storage until car is picked-up, and can assist with loading at this end. Possible delivery at your expense, for my cost, within 300 +/- miles. I respectfully reserve the right to end my auction early, as it's advertised elsewhere, as well. I might also be interested in your vintage (Lola or March) Sports 2000 race car. Please ask questions before bidding.  Keep in mind this is a 37 year old exotic car.
