1967 VW Beetle, 55,000 Original miles, riginal Paint (see below). 4 bolt disc brake front end and transmission from 1967 Karmann Ghia. Brand new (rebuilt) 1600cc dual port engine, ero miles. Porsche 914 wheels. Car has been garaged, nd not driven, ince 1992. Two owner car, econd owner purchased in 1971. California car, o rust, ll original pan and interior. Runs and drives.
I purchased this car in 1971 and drove it until 1992 when it was garaged. Prior to my purchasing the car, t appears the left rear fender and deck lid were repainted, ossibly due to minor damage. The car is otherwise all straight and original. Pan is clean, o rust, ncluding the battery area. There are a few non original parts, ncluding the disc brake front end, bolt transmission, dditional gauges, hifter, adio. I have some of the original parts, M radio, eat exchangers, 0 Pict-1 carburetor, ash speaker grill and some other bits. The new rebuilt engine came from Mid America Motor Works, t a cost of over $1600. It was installed just before the listing, nd has been tested and run. Clutch is a brand new NOS German F&S.
