Description:
1963 Lincoln Continental
Up for sale is my 63 Continental, atching numbers, actory AC car. This car is a driving/running peoject which needs to be completed. Its a my loss your gain situation. I ran out of funds to continue and need funds for a new house now. Its undergone many kustom changes and modifications since I've owned it since mid 2014. I am the third owner. Odometer has 87xxx miles, 'm confident they're original. The car has undergone a major transformation. Originally the car was white but that doesn't compliment the elegance of such car, o the color had to change. Bodywork and paint was done on the car. Emblems on sides of cars were deleted. A complete tubular suspension was custom made by Sik fabrication in SoCal, he car was slammed and bagged. Airbags on all four corners and tunnel fabricated to allow drive shaft clearence. All work was done at a professional shop Poor Boy Kustoms in SoCal. It has a clear title in my name and is non op.
Car still needs to be completed. The front suspension Needs to be aligned for drive height and upper arms tightened. The tank is hanging temporarily as the idea was to change it for a mustang gas tank. There will be no air management system included with the car (Accuair is NOT included) only bags and a temp valve system. The brackets for the air system can be used with any air management system. The trunk floor and interior floor can be left as they are or filled in. The opening on both trunk and floor are for travel of pan hard bar and track bars (bi-links). The interior, oth seats and carpet are fresh and newer. The tunnel height exceeds the rear seat clearence, o rear seat will have to be modified to fit. The paint will need to be buffed and cut or left as is. Paint is good driving quality.
All glass is in good condition, xcept windshield has a crack and can be left as is or replaced. All windows roll up and down.
The 430 MEL big block V8 runs strong but does need a rebuild eventually. There is an oil leak from the rear of the engine, hich I suspect is the rear main seal, ut needless to saybit drives anywhere. It is a factory AC car but its disconnected and have never used it. Blower does work, owever. I've driven this car two hours each way and just have to monitor the oil level for safety. Transmission is also original and shifts smoothly.
All trim is there and there are even extra pieces of trim in a box, s well as the original stereo and 5 extra window motors and 4 original seatbelts.
All in all this is a good solid car for someone to add a few buck and complete and have it going cross country or to local shows. I've listed as much as I could remember. There might be something I could have forgotten or missed unintetionally so please ask any questions before bidding.
