Description:

1962 Lincoln Continental

1962 Lincoln Continental convertible. This is a good running/driving car that gets attention everywhere you go. Factory 430ci MEL engine/automatic trans. Older driver quality paint that’s been wet sanded and buffed. Car has less then 900 miles on all the new parts/work since installed this spring of 24’ Some updated and replaced parts since I got it consist of:

Custom carpet/floor mats

Rebuilt rear window motors- Lafore Lincoln

Fuel pump

Brake master cylinder

Brakes

Tail light lenses

Spark plugs

Spark plug wires

Battery

Oil/filter

Cap/rotor

Carb rebuild

Fuel hose and filter

Belts, bulbs, coolant flush, ect.

As for the bad:

Top is NOT working since the pump went out this summer and will need a relay rebuilt for top. Prior to the pump going out it worked fine and cycled as it should. Has some rust in passenger rocker, deck lid corner, lower door legs in front of rear wheels have some bondo. The convertible top itself is black and was replaced in 2010. Car was repainted years ago by previous owner that had owned it since 1981 and it isn’t perfect as you can see from the pictures. Paint has nicks, scratches, paint chips, cracks and wear as show in pictures. It’s a fun driver that still gets a ton of attention and is fun to enjoy! Car shows normal wear for a 60+ year old vehicle. Clean title in hand! This has been a fun car to cruise and enjoy so far this season. I’ve had it on multiple trips of 2+ hours one way with no issues.

Car is for sale locally. May be open to possible partial trades for other classic cars/trucks, hot rods, LS swapped pickups, 3100, c10 ect.
