Elegant and crisp in White paint (code 9D), topped with a White Normande Grain full vinyl roof (code FW, and white premium bodyside moldings. A double paint stripe in Red (code D) ran down both sides of the car, the perfect accent to the Lipstick Red components found inside. Plush White Leather seating in luxury group sew style with Lipstick Red Cross Straps and Lipstick Red dash and carpet quickened your pulse and made even the most mundane trip exciting. Lincoln missed no detail in making sure the Mark IV lipstick was special, even the trunk was finished in matching Lipstick Red carpeting.For those in the know, the Pacific Northwest has become the first choice for well preserved rust-free original cars. Western WA sees little snow (and NO salt!, mild year round temperatures, and less year round UV exposure. Leaving paint, chrome, vinyl, leather, plastics in pristine condition. This car is no exception. Delivered new in the Seattle area where it remained garaged by its original and current owner. It came from the original owners estate in 2022 with 87,000 original miles. Currently mileage is at 88,980.This car is an untouched original including its original paint and body, interior, door panels, headliner, seats, carpeting, vinyl roof…. even the factory red accent stripes with the original ‘arrow’ tips are in place! The original chrome is beautiful. There is NO rust on this car and no bubbling under the vinyl roof. Car starts well, runs nice and drives like a Lincoln should.The following work has been completed during my ownership to make this beautiful car road (and show!) ready:New gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump and carburetor rebuild. Radiator was recored, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, fan clutch and timing chain were replaced. Tires are new, brakes were all good, new brake hoses and master cylinder were fitted. Shocks were replaced, new steering box, rag joint and steering was aligned. Complete tune up with new distributor and vacuum advance as well as a reseal on the intake manifold and valve cover gaskets. A new battery was installed in June of this year. A/C had been converted to 134a and works fine. New resonators were installed and the exhaust is whisper quiet.To my knowledge, the only things left to address are a non working clock, the FM band on the radio is in-op, AM works fine. Power antenna motor works with the switch, but the mast doesn’t move up or down. Small dimple in drivers door/trim as shown in the last picture.Car is located in Seattle.
