1962 Lincoln Continental

Relisting due to nonpayment. Selling my beautiful 1962 Lincoln Continental, with the rare electronic eye and cruise control, low mileage believed to be correct!Working am radio, electronic antenna, all 4 power windows, wipers, lights, front and rear turn signals, side mirror, fuel gauge, power steering and even the horn. Just completed the following: Oil change, oil filer, air filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, cap, upper and lower radiator hoses, antifreeze, hood insulation, new battery, all 4 wheel cylinders, front brake lines, newer brake pads, new fuel sending unit and electronic fuel pump. Nice driver quality paint job that shines well. There is body filler, mostly in the quarter panels and trunk lid. The floorboards and trunk look solid, there is rust/damage in the front bracket and bottom/corner of wheel wells, see pictures. The original carpeting is worn through under the driver’s floor mat and the trunk carpet is shot. The original seats, dash pads, door panels and wood inserts are very nice for the age, no rips, or tears, the front seats have seat belts. All of the glass is in great shape. The keys lock and unlock the doors. The Continental starts well, idles nicely and the engine is really quiet.Waiting for a brake line to complete the braking system, the brakes are currently not operating, I expect to have it completed before the car is sold, but it may not be. The Continental has been driven very little in the neighborhood since the completion of the most recent repairs, due to waiting for the brakes to be complete, aninspection for the condition is suggested before bidding on the Continental. The car is located in Maryland, it was purchase new in Ohio and spent its life there, it comes with a clean Ohio title and period correct license plates. Also included in the sale are some great additional items, an original shop manual, 1962 supplement manual, owner’s manual, maintenance manual and a beautiful original 10-page color dealer brochure and build sheet, along with a spare matching hub cap. I would be happy to answer any questions, thankyou.

Just took the Continental on a ride through the neighborhood, great acceleration, the brakes still need to be addressed, very hard pedal and very hard to stop, someone mentioned that it might be a vacuum leak or the booster. Speedometer is also intermittent, maybe the cable or gear? The temperature gauge appears to be working fine.
