1978 Lincoln Continental Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Edition.
IT has Diamonds in the round opera windows on both sides behind the door.
This vehicle is barn fresh from storage and has not been driven in 25 yrs.
There is minimal rust on frame and components. There is lots of dust and dirt on the plush carpeting.
This vehicle was worked on and tuned by a Pro Ford Mechanic back in 1997 and it got 26 MPG driving from Kentucky to Iowa at 70 MPH. This Lincoln Floats down the road. It was then parked by a family cabin and left there in storage when the owner dealt with elderly family members elsewhere. It ended up remaining there afterwards.
The pictures show the condition of it with dust on everything inside and under the hood.
The battery box and front framework is still in fine shape and not rusted away.

The 460 Is a Premium Engine Option with an overdrive rear and automatic transmission. Moon Roof Electric Window
This 460 CU inch engine, control unit & drive train is now very rare, according to Ford Truck and Car collectors.
Custom Turbine Wheels are fully intact.
New Gabriel Gas Shocks were installed on the Front, with renewed brakes. Seals in Rear end were replaced.
The car had new Radial tires that lost their air over time and are now collapsed onto the rims except for the right rear wheel which still holds air in the tire.
Power Seats, Power door windows, dual ash trays on the 2 large doors.
Extra long front and doors in this design. Eight Track Tape Player with radio.
The door hinges and framework are not loose or rusted. They still open and close nice and easy.
The metal middle of the hinge on the passenger side of the trunk is snapped in two from wind lifting it.
THIS is the perfect vehicle for an investment and restoration project for someone with a good shop and lots of room and tools who is either in the business doing this or wants to do a project like this for yourself.
If you're a restoration mechanic with a shop and a YouTube Channel that does projects like this on the channel this would be perfect.
The oil is still pretty clean as can be seen from the picture of the dipstick.
The parts alone on this Rare Lincoln Diamond Jubilee all sell for hundreds and thousands of dollars if this was parted out.
Custom Wheels, Brake and Steering Components, Engine, Transmission, Rear Axle, Suspension and door components, seats, etc.
Only 2300 of these Vehicles were produced.!
