Vehicle Details

Offering a 1978 Lincoln Mark V TRUE survivor. Has the 400CI motor. It was recently obtained from a barn in Kendrick ID (Pictures present showing it when found). Cleaned the gas tank, the fuel lines, changed the filter and the plug wires and it runs great. A/C blows cold (amazingly). All electronics work including headlights and power antenna. The tires are date code correct from the factory in 1978. No rust. Around the vinyl top is perfect, not even a small bubble. All factory markings are present in the engine compartment, and the undercarriage. Has approx. 6,900 miles and is 100% Original. Interior is immaculate. All the glass is original and perfect. Rear seatbelts still have factory plastic sleeves over them. The seats definitely depict the low mileage, they are still firm. Carpet isn’t matted down, the seatbelts look never used even in the front seat. Original reciept of purchase present, along with service documentation tracking mileage. This is a one family owned Lincoln. Have the full story and more pictures upon request. The car has gone through a full detail. The interior was perfectly preserved and even smelled new. Lincoln new how to seal a cab!

Things that may need attention depending on the person:

Still has original tires, so this would need trailered.

The drives side power window regulator is broken, it’s the plastic piece inside the door that holds the glass up. I took the door panel off and attached vice grips to hold the glass up. The power motor and switch works but the window won’t move until a new regulator is installed.

Behind the tires there are numerous Rock chips, owner lived on a gravel road in the country

The hood was closed on something and left a dimple, it was straightened and touched up, still noticeable up close.

The fuel gauge needle does not move, shows empty, and the fuel light stays on.

From the back window back was in part time sun so the paint is tired, still looks good but is tired.

This is an amazing time capsule and a must see. The car is stored inside in Clarkston WA. these cars are on an uptrend and I would keep it as an investment but room is a major issue for me. It really belongs in a museum.
