Vehicle Details20 years ago, my father bought this from the estate of the original owner, to add to his collection and for a later model driver for car shows and tours.
Wife and I bought his entire collection and added them to ours. The museum is overflowing. This is my personal car, titled as such. We are eliminating some of the inventory.
This is a beautiful Mark. It does show some minor wear around it as it was prepared for touring, not just shows. Because it was going to be driven on long tours; it got new a/c compressor and dryer, new heater core, new correct exhaust, new tie rod ends with alignment, new belts, etc. for a safe, pleasant ride. It’s outstanding!
Dad is now 90. He bought this 4-27-2003. With 83,000 miles.
Build date is 02/09/79. Sold new in North Platte, Nebraska at JOE DYE FORD LINCOLN MERCURY.
Always garaged. Never a smoker. Never in salt. Mostly original, rustfree paint (some chips touched up on front). Everything runs, drives, and operates as you would expect from a fine old Lincoln.
